F1 Fashion: Hits, Misses & Must-Haves
From nostalgic bombers to F1’s first real collab for the girls, we’re breaking down the fashion drops that did the paddock proud - and the ones that crashed out early.
From retro race jackets to overpriced hats and Snoopy in a Formula 1 car, the world of F1 fashion collabs is having a full-throttle moment. As the sport’s cultural footprint expands, so too does its style influence - and we’ve got thoughts. Big ones.
Let’s break down the collabs that nailed the vibe, the ones that fumbled the finish line, and the few that finally, finally designed with the girls in mind.

Selfridges x F1 75 Collection: Retro Done Right
There’s nostalgia, and then there’s this. F1 tapped deep into motorsport memory with their limited-edition F1 75th anniversary collection - an ode to oversized ‘90s jackets, Marlboro-era cool, and your dad’s old race gear (the same ones you used to hate, now going for a small fortune on Grailed).
It’s not just a drop - it’s a time capsule. And for fans who grew up watching Michael Schumacher on Sundays, it hits all the sentimental notes. Yes, it’s pricey. But it’s also one of the few collections that feels like it’ll age as well as the sport itself.
Milkshake rating: A runway-level reimagining of motorsport’s golden years.
OVO x Red Bull Racing: A Missed Opportunity (and the Comments Agreed)
When two high-octane brands like OVO and Red Bull link up, the expectations are sky-high. But aside from the standout varsity jacket (OVO’s specialty), the rest of the drop felt phoned in - more collab-by-logo than fashion-forward moment.
And then there’s the timing. Dropping a capsule amidst Drake's legal battle with Kendrick Lamar while fans still remember the Christian Horner scandal? Risky. The comment section didn’t hold back - with references to “Horner x Drake allegations” and “this collab makes sense now.” Ouch.
Milkshake rating: Energy drink vibes without the energy.
Rhude x Pirelli: Streetwear Meets Motorsport Legacy
The rude awakening we needed. This collab was pure chef’s kiss - an elevated capsule that fused the legacy of Pirelli with the cool factor of Rhuigi’s Rhude streetwear empire.
From timeless silhouettes to luxe materials, every piece was a nod to motorsport’s past with a foot firmly in fashion’s future. Pricey? Absolutely. But if you’re going to spend $1,200 on a jacket, let it be one that says “I know the grid and the game.”
Milkshake rating: Luxury streetwear that gets it - and gets you.
Meshki x Alexandra Saint-Mleux: Finally, Something for the Girls
F1 style isn’t just oversized bombers and logo tees. The lifestyle is just as important - and this was the first collab to truly cater to it.
Created by Alexandra Saint-Mleux, Charles Leclerc's girlfriend, and Aussie label Meshki, the collection wasn’t about the race. It was about the weekend. What to wear to a rooftop dinner after quali. What to pack for yacht drinks. What to wear when you aren’t at the track but still want to serve Grand Prix glam.
Our only critique? The price point. Meshki sits in the mid-range market, but this drop leaned higher-end. With dresses pushing $400, we're sure this had some fans hesitating. Still, the vision was clear and the storytelling could’ve gone even further. Imagine: “Friday free practice to Sunday yacht party” - complete with styled lookbooks for each vibe.
Milkshake rating: A beautiful first lap for women in F1 fashion. We’re ready for more.
